Quote by morganeThis calendar is not
weird, school begins in April in Japan ! And it's not a group scan, it's a
female scan, because there are only female characters.
I'm simply stating that it's weird from an American student's pov. I'm not too
sure because the character behind Illya looks rather masculine to me...Although
it's rather hard dealing with androgynous figures sometimes.

Quote by morganeHey, I'm looking for the
textless version. If I find it, do you want me to send it to you, to update this
one ? No problem for me !
Morgane~
Thanks for the offer but if you do find it, you can go ahead and upload it. Just
give me a note and I'll delete mine. Thanks again. :]
And I think one of the mods had moved the scan of Ren over to FSN because I
really don't remember putting it under FSN...I reported it to be moved already.
Thanks for the info. :]
Quote by KisekiAeonThank you so much
for all the HaruToki scans. :]
The series is so underloved...
You're welcome.
I still have like 50+ scans from the artbook, so it'll take me a while with this
9 submissions per day. My sister can do as many submissions per day as she
wants, no fair.
Quote by KisekiAeonThe coloring is
really just the selection of areas (polygonal selection tool), filling it with
color/gradient, and then adding a blend effect.
Sorry to say, but I don't think this is actually a vector
You pretty much have to use only the PenTool for it to qualify as one, or else
use a vector-based program (I know that now, but I did the same thing as you a
while back ). EGAO! has a nice
vector tutorial explaining it here.
That aside, I do like it. I love the sparkly texture you used for Sakura's
dress. It gives it a ncie shimmer like on an evening gown. Also, the background
with the moon turned out very well. Syaoran looks a little flat compared to
everything else in the image, but otherwise his colors and texture look really
well done. Good job on your manga page color! ^_^
Yea, I originally put it as a doujinshi, but one of the mod's moved the category
for me, and labeled it as a vector as well. *shrugs* Wasn't really my choice.
Thank you for the comment though. ^^ And the link of course!

YAY FIRST TO FAV I HOPE YAY! OMG this is amazing, such imagination and creativey
and omg great vector/doujin job here. I mean dang YOUR AMAZING! I love the
colors, design, and their outfits, great job here. I love it!
~* Lacus *~
lol Yes, you were the very first to fav. ^^ Thank you very much. I'm glad you
like it.
Quote by Faqirneeds work on the hair and
face of sakura. syaoran too needs work. as well as the tree barks. you could
maybe color in the line itself...perhaps...
best thing you did. I love the dress and cloth wings. The coloring was perfect
there. ^^
The floor and curtains were done okay.
Thank you for the feedback. :]
This was my first time doing a coloring of this scale. I don't have a firm grasp
of shadowing and highlighting, so I just stuck with whatever shadowing the manga
image has originally provided. Colors were picked at random too, so I guess skin
tones and hair shade colors are off. x]
Quote by KisekiAeonDid you get to go
to the CLAMP panel? I missed it. T~T
(Sorry for bothering you, I was just wondering what went on in
it.)
Me too, it was too busy and I got turned away. I don't
mind though, I hear a lof of things went wrong and Clamp was 2 hours late.
Here's a transcript of the session though, they did answer some good questions.

Ahh~ Thank you very much! The con was very fun but tiring too. ==;;
Did you go to the Masquerade on Monday night? iPLAY did a group skit from
Tsubasa, and their costumes were as beautiful as ever. They did four characters
(besides Sakura) that are rarely cosplayed too, which made the whole thing even
cooler!

Chuu~ My thanks for the fav on my kh drawing!
*huggles* I really appreciate it and glad that you liked. ^_^
Thankies again!
Mata ne~
No problem. I agree with the others on how it's a new and fresh point of view. I
thought I commented on the image, but I guess my net connection cut it off.
=x
Anyways, I've taken a look at some of your other works and I find them
wonderful. I could never CG like that with a mouse.
Hi Marissa-san, I'm not quite sure if you're in the area or not, or if you are
into conventions or not, but CLAMP will be one of the many Guests of Honor at Anime-Expo 2006.
I just wanted to let you know since you seem very much to be the avid CLAMP fan.
=)

Quote by MarissaIn fact I did know and I
will be attending, but thank you for taking the time to tell
me.
That's cool. ^^ It would be nice to meet but I guess chances of that are pretty
slim.
Quote by twilightmageOMG! You can
draw so good! I can't wait until I get as good as you. ' But
the only problem is that I can't do shadows very well. Since you're so good at
it, can you teach me? *gives her the hopeless puppy dog eye
look*
Thanks~ =^.^=
Most of my shadows were copied from the original image, with just the tweaking
of the ones on the hair. All I can say though, is to just practice copying
shadows for a while from other images. If you mean the different tones of colors
though, just practice different pressures of the pencil. Since pencil shading
tends to smear, I tend to let it do that. I sometimes take a tissue or a q-tip
and use it to my advantage as well. For example, you can take a tissue and rub
it over one of your dark shadows, and then rub it into an empty spot for a
really light tone of gray.
That's about the only tips I have to give you. The rest is up to you to test and
try out. Good luck.
Thanks for making the userpage sking of Saber from Fate/Stay Night. I'm going to
use it for a while. ^^ Just stopping by to let you know and to show the
appreciation. =)

The manga for it is great, but there's really little chipmunk time, just like the game. =P
Thanks~ =)
Your drawings are beautiful~ *-* So much work was put into them.
Yep, I find her outfit adorable too! (Even though I normally don't like such colorful things.)
Thanks for the comment + fav on 9th style~! =)
